Art Therapy
Art therapy at Bodhi is an experiential, collaborative process that emphasizes the journey of creation rather than the final product. Through guided and open-ended art-making, clients deepen self-awareness by exploring emotions and patterns in a nonverbal, accessible way.
The creative process supports insight, self-compassion, and personal growth, regardless of prior art experience. Art therapy also fosters relational skills and self-soothing. Creating in a therapeutic relationship—and sometimes alongside others—offers opportunities to practice communication, boundaries, and connection. Engaging with art materials helps regulate the nervous system and develop grounding tools clients can use beyond sessions, supporting resilience and emotional well-being.
