“You spend most of your life inside your head… make it a nice place to be.”
Despite the harsh challenges of life, I believe everyone has the ability to achieve an internal base state of calm happiness. We want to be thriving, not just getting through the day. Sometimes, we need a little extra help to achieve that.
I view therapy as a collaborative process, in which we work together to identify your goals and needs. That said, I take a very individualized approach to the therapeutic journey, while using techniques from modalities such as cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and person centered therapy. As a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher, I also incorporate breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness into treatment. I am very passionate about the mind-body-soul connection, and believe that fostering holistic wellness is an important part of healing.
I strive to create a warm, non-judgemental, and compassionate energy in the therapy room. Together we will create a supportive environment that helps you explore what brought you to where you are today and what you need to get you to where you want to be. Together, we can achieve the thriving, not just surviving. I believe that helping others is a part of my life path, and I’m very excited to possibly share that with you. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, doing yoga, and hanging out with my two cats and puppy.
