“Art is a wound turned into light.”
Hi, I’m Alexis and I believe in a compassionate approach to care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for individuals to build support. I use a variety of different approaches focused primarily on cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered care, using an individualized process to establish a relationship between myself and you.
I work with adults in both an individual and group setting, focusing on people that experience substance use disorders. I also have experience, in practice, with art therapy. Art can foster creativity in the therapeutic relationship, and enhance means of communication. I believe all humans are born innately creative and we can explore this process together. I’m very excited to begin this journey with you.
